There was once a Dog who loved eating eggs. He visited the henhouse so often that, before long, he became so greedy he stopped chewing and simply swallowed the eggs whole.
One day, while wandering along the seashore, the Dog spotted what looked like another large egg.
Without stopping to inspect it, he gulped it down in a single bite.
But it wasn’t an egg at all—it was an Oyster, shell and all.
The sharp shell gave the Dog a terrible stomachache, and he soon regretted his hasty meal.
Groaning in pain, he sighed,
“I’ve learned that not everything round is an egg.”
Moral: Don’t make assumptions based on appearances, and don’t let greed cloud your judgment.
